Now please work with me 50 steps to setup and configure Project Server 2013 Preview.
We only setup and configure Project Server 2013 Preview on SharePoint Server 2013 Preview server.
1. Click on PreRequisiteInstaller of Project Server 2013 Preview
2. Next to download and install all software that need for Project Server 2013
3. Accept the terms of the License Agreements then click on Next
4. Configuring Application Server Role, Web Server (IIS) Role
5. Installation Complete. Click on Finish to close
6. Click on setup of Project Server 2013 extracted folder
7. Enter product key for Project Server 2013 Preview then click on Continue
8. Accept the terms and click on Continue
9. Choose file location then click on Install Now
10. Installing Microsoft Project Server 2013 Preview
11. Finalizing installation. This may take a few minutes.
12. Only need 3 databases with basic SharePoint Server 2013 Preview configuration
13. One or more required Office compoents failed to complete successfully.
14. Start all Office services then setup Project Server 2013 Preview again
15. Accept the Run the SharePoint Products COnfiguration Wizard now. Then click on Close
16. Choose Connect to an existing server farm. Then click on Next
17. Type DB Server Name, Click on Retrived Database Names then Click on Next
18. Type Passphrase then click on Next
19. Accept the default setting parameters then lick Next
20. Completing the SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard
21. Connecting to the configuration database...
22. Securig the SharePoint resource...
23. Registering SharePoint services...
24. Registering SharePoint features...
25. Provisiong the SharePoint Central Administration Web Application...
26. Installing the application content files...
27. Finalizing the SharePoint Products configuration...
28. Configuration Successful
29. log on for FarmConfiguration
30. Start the Wizard to configure this SharePoint server
31. This completes the Farm Configuration Wizard.
32. Project Server Application Service is ready on Service list
33. Must start all services include Project Server Application Service
34. Click on Manage content databases
35. Click on Add a content database
36. Choose a database name then click on OK
37. The new database with name ProjectServer2013_PWA is ready to use
38. Click on default content database
39. Change WSS_Content status to Offline
40. From now the database WSS_Content is Stoped
41. Go back to Central Administration and click on Manage service applications
42. From SERVICE APPLICATIONS, click on New then click on Project Server Service Application
43. Choose Project Services application name, Application Pool, then click OK
44. Click on the name of the Project Server 2013 service app that we just created
45. Click on Create Project Web App Instance to make a new project web app for us
46. Choose Project Web App path, Administrator Account, Primary Database, Site Qouta, then click on OK
47. Create Projwct Web App, Waiting for Resource status
48. Create Projwct Web App, Creating Project Web App Site
49. Create Projwct Web App, Provisioning Database
50. Privisioned with warnings: Some SQL permissions were not set.
