SharePoint 2013 Foundation Preview Steps by Steps Setup and Configuration

Now, would you like to setup a free newest portal solution from Microsoft. Please work with me through 67 steps here. I am using Windows Server 2012 Standard, you can use Windows Server 2008 R2 is also OK.

1. Download SharePoint 2013 Foundation Preview

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30345

2. Click on setup after burn into a DVD

3. Downnload Pre-requisites for SharePoint 2013 Foundation Preview

4. Click on PreRequisiteInstaller

5. Click Next to setup PreRequisites for SharePoint 2013 Foundation Preview

6. First choose I accept.. then click on Next

7. Configuring Application Server Role, Web Server (IIS) Role

8. Installing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 Native Client

9. Downloading Windows Server AppFabric

10.  Your system needs to restart to continue. Press Finish to restart yuor system.

11. If we not yet update Windows Server 2012 so the operation system not configure well. Please update Windows Server 2012 like

12. After Update Windows, we restart the opearation system, so from now the Prerequisites are continue to download and install

13. I see some error when installing, do not warring, we only click on Retry some time untill all Prerequisites are installed well like

14. When see the error weonly restart our operation system to continue to setup SharePoint Foundation 2013 Preview

15. Choose I accept then click on Continue

16. Choose Complete option then click on Install Now

17. Installation Progress

18. Finalizing installation

19. Close the installation of SharePoint 2013 Foundation to Run Configuration Wizard

20. Require information to configure SharePoint Products

21. Accept to restart Services as required

22. Choose 'Create a new server farm' then click on 'Next'

23. Specify Configuration Database Settings

24.  Local account can not use to configure SharePoint Farm

25. Add roles and features from Server Manager

26. Choose 'Role-based or feature-based installation' then click on Next

27. 'Select a server from the server pool' then choose your server name then click Next

28. Choose 'Active Directory Domain Services'

29. Add features that are required for Active Directory Domain Services

30. After add all required features for Active Directory Domain Service then click Next

31. Continue click Next to add Active Directory Domain Services

32. After read careful about Active Directory Domain Services then click Next

33. Choose 'Restart the destination server automatically if required' then click on 'Install'

34. Installing Active Directory Domain Services on Christ Laptop

35. Configuration required. Installation succeeded on Christ.

36. Click on Notifications flag

37. Click on 'Promote this serverto a domain controller' to 'Configuration required for Active Directory Domain Services at CHRIST'

38. Choose 'Add a new forest', type your Domain name, then click on Next

39. Type password for Domain Controller, iloveJesus)01010001 may be acceptable

40. The NetBiOS domain name

41. Specify the location of the AD DS database, log files and SYSVOL

42. Review selections for AD DS

43. Verifying prerequisites for domain controller operation...

44. All prerequisite checks passed successfully. Click 'Install' to begin installation.

45. Waiting for DNS installation to finish

46. Click on SharePoint 2013 Products ...  from all apps

47. Specify Configuration Database Settings with Domain Account

48. Specify Farm Security Settings - Passphrase

49. Configure SharePoint Central Administration Web Application

50. Completing the SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard

51. Creating the configuration database...

52. Registering SharePoint features...

53. Provisioning the SharePoint Administration Web Application...

54. Finalizing the SharePoint Products configuration...

55. Configuration Successful

56. Type the administrator account to logon to continue configure SharePoint Farm

57. Yes, I am willing to participate for 'Sign up for the Customer Experience Improvement Program and automatically upload error reports to Microsoft'

58. Yes, walk me through the configuration of my farm using this wizard.

59. Can be use existing managed account as a Service Account
